Liquid brewer's yeast turning into a fine powder

We add value to what industry discards.

We are a Chilean applied biotechnology company. We work with food-industry by-products and turn them into ingredients and raw materials for human food, pets and intensive livestock farming.

Between farm and factory, up to 45% of raw materials is lost. Others see waste. We see ingredients.

From agro-industry to the sea: we apply technology so that what one plant throws away becomes the ingredient another one needs.

    Let's talk

Our manifesto

  1. Healthy. Sustainable. Delicious.

We change the food industry from the inside with ingredients built on the three pillars that drive us: people's health, so humanity has a better tomorrow; sustainability, so the planet and society can find their balance again; and delicious products everyone can enjoy guilt-free.

  2. In science we trust

We do science because it is what drives us. Our proposals to the industry must stand on solid, rigorous science. We question ourselves constantly and back our ideas with rigour.

  3. It's a business, not a nice science project

We do excellent science with a focus on building a disruptive, sustainable business that lets us reach our goals, grow as a company and have a positive impact in every sense.

  4. We're a pack of dogs

We hunt together with clear, shared goals. Together we are stronger. We accept our differences, have no interest in personal egos and always put the team's success first.

  5. We add building blocks

Each of us is always open and bringing ideas, opportunities, deals, connections and skills across everything we do. We listen to those contributions and build on them every day.

  6. Dialogue is the key

Dialogue is the pillar of our culture, within the team and with partners, customers and the wider ecosystem. We are clear and transparent, and we believe asynchronous communication is a better way to talk and work.

  7. Building the new is change

When you create something new, change is constant. What already exists is there to challenge us to do it differently and more efficiently.

  8. We lead and take ownership

We are accountable for our actions and decisions. Each of us takes on our role professionally and trusts that others do too: it is the best way to reach our shared goals.

  9. Shit happens. We clean it up and move on

We work at the edge, so mistakes happen. We own them, learn from them and try again. We share what we learned so it doesn't happen again, and we never punish trying again.

  10. We are not a corporation in small

We don't want to do things the way they have always been done. If something has been done before, we can question it and challenge the status quo. We keep a simple, agile mindset to move fast.
